
Pip Probert is an accomplished garden designer with nearly two decades of experience transforming outdoor spaces into stunning, personalised havens. Her passion for innovative design, combined with an extensive horticultural background, has made her a respected name in the gardening world both nationally and internationally.
Over her career, Pip has created 42 award-winning show gardens at prestigious events, including RHS Chelsea Flower Show, RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, RHS Malvern Spring Flower Show, BBC Gardeners’ World Live, Gardening Scotland, and the Ascot Spring Garden Show. These gardens showcase her expertise in design, construction, and planting, consistently earning medals for their high standard.
Pip has also collaborated with other designers to bring their show garden visions to life and mentors aspiring designers through their first garden builds as part of her Garden Design Diploma course. Internationally, her designs have been featured at events like the Besiktas Garden Festival in Istanbul and the Beijing Horticultural Expo, highlighting her global influence.


Pip’s creativity and knowledge have been widely recognised in media collaborations with the BBC and RHS. She has appeared on gardening programs such as Passion for Plants on BBC2, regularly shared expert advice on BBC Radio Merseyside, and written numerous blogs for the RHS, offering insights into her show gardens.
Pip has also given talks and presentations at RHS events and private functions, including her most recent series of design talks at the RHS Tatton Park ‘Grow Talks Theatre.’ Her work has been featured in gardening books and magazines, further cementing her reputation as an industry leader.
In 2020, Pip featured as a garden designer on the television program Your Garden Made Perfect, bringing her expertise to a wider audience and demonstrating the transformative power of thoughtful garden design.
Dedicated to education, Pip has taught a variety of garden design courses at institutions like the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Ness Botanic Gardens, and Fieldcrest Gardening School. She created a two-year Garden Design Diploma for mature students aspiring to become professional designers, guiding them through practical show garden experiences. Her workshops have been highly sought after at horticultural events across the UK.
As of 2024, Pip shifted her focus exclusively to garden design and planting, rebranding her services to emphasise her true passion. In 2025, she launched her new in-house courses in garden design, art classes and floristry, inspiring a fresh wave of garden designers to bring their creative visions to life.
